Terms of service

Effective [SET BEFORE LAUNCH] · Applies to jikobi.com (jikobi.com) · Provided by [SET BEFORE LAUNCH]

The short version

  • These terms are the agreement between you and us when you use jikobi.com.
  • Your content stays yours. You give us permission to use it only to run the service for you.
  • Use it lawfully and follow the acceptable use policy.
  • Check important AI output before you rely on it, unless a signed agreement says otherwise.

This summary helps you read the page. The full text below is what applies.

1. Who these terms are with

These terms are between you and [SET BEFORE LAUNCH] ("we", "us"). If you accept them for an organisation, you confirm that you can bind it, and "you" means that organisation.

2. Your account

Give accurate details and keep your password and API keys secret. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us straight away at [email protected] if you think someone else has access. You must be 18 or over.

3. The service

jikobi.com is a hosted service. We may improve it and change features. If we remove something you depend on, we give reasonable notice. During early access, features can be limited, and running work may need us to switch it on for your account.

4. Service commitments

We work hard to keep jikobi.com available and correct. Specific commitments (for example contracted outputs, response times, availability or support levels) apply only when they are written in an order form or signed agreement. Where one exists, it takes priority over these terms.

5. Your content

You keep all rights in the content you put in and the results you get out. You give us a limited licence to host, copy, process and transmit your content only to provide, secure and support the service for you. We do not use your content to train AI models. You confirm that you have the right to give us the content, including any personal data in it.

6. AI output

Some features use AI. AI output can be incomplete or wrong. The service validates and labels output where it can, but unless a signed agreement says otherwise you are responsible for checking output before you rely on it for important decisions.

7. Acceptable use

Follow the Acceptable use policy. We may suspend access that puts people, the service or other customers at risk. Where we can, we tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.

8. Connected services

If you connect other services (for example email, messaging or your own APIs), their terms apply to them. You authorise us to act within the permissions you give. We keep credentials as protected references and use them only for what you set up.

9. Fees

Every feature is free up to the limit shown on our pricing page. Paid plans and packs are sold through our reseller, Paddle, who is the merchant of record and handles payment, tax and invoices; purchases inside Android apps go through Google Play. Prices are shown before you pay. You can ask for a refund within 14 days, as set out in the refund policy. If we change a price, we tell you before your next renewal.

10. Confidentiality

Each of us keeps the other's non-public information confidential and uses it only for this agreement.

11. Our intellectual property

We own the service, its software and its design. You may not copy, resell or reverse engineer it except as the law allows. If you send us feedback, we may use it freely.

12. Warranties

Except as written in a signed agreement, the service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties such as merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

13. Liability

To the extent the law allows, neither of us is liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability under these terms is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and 100 euros. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

14. Ending the agreement

You can stop using the service and close your account at any time. We can end or suspend it for serious or repeated breach, or if the law requires. After closing, you can ask for an export of your content for 30 days. We then delete it as described in the Privacy policy.

15. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we tell you at least 30 days before the change applies. If you do not agree, you can close your account before then.

16. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by [SET BEFORE LAUNCH]. Before going to court, we both try to solve a dispute in good faith by talking first.
